Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her family consisted of two sisters who were younger, and often was bullied at school due to her sizeable thighs. Graham was initially diagnosed by A.D.H.D. shortly after her schooling in elementary school. Although she faced numerous obstacles, which included A.D.H.D. during the teenage years, she did manage to overcome the challenges. A talent agent spotted Graham aged 12 at a Nebraska shopping mall. After graduating in 2005 Lincoln Southwest High School she appeared in multiple magazines and billboards. At the beginning of Graham's modeling profession, her physical characteristics meant it was difficult for her to land jobs. She was fortunate enough to show that session casters were wrong, and her career progressed quickly. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer who gave her one of her first break-throughs in 2007. The following year, in 2009, she was a guest in "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful In Every Size". Graham was once more in the news by being featured in Lane Bryant's controversial advertisement. The ad was later removed from several markets. The situation grew out of control and Graham addressed the issue on"Tonight Show "Tonight Tonight Show" which was hosted by Jay Leno. Graham rose quickly to fame and became one of today's best-known plus-size model. Grande began acting and singing in her early years as a kid. The role she won was 13 at Broadway in 2008, then started appearing in smaller role in TV shows. In 2010, she received her biggest break, landing a part on Nickelodeon's television series Victorious. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent attending a performing-arts school. When the sitcom was cancelled in 2013, she starred in a spin-off series Sam & Cat (2013-14).
