Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney (born February 5, 1964) is a famous American actress. Linney is the winner of many awards, including two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and is nominated for three Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney began her career on Broadway in the year 1990. She has since earned Tony Award nominations, including for The Crucible's 2002 revival The original Sight Unseen Broadway performances (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) as well as My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) in addition to revived versions of The Little Foxes (2017). She also won her debut Emmy Award for the television film Wild Iris (2001), with subsequent Emmy Awards in the sitcom Frasier (2003-04) as well as the mini-series John Adams (2008). In 2010, she appeared as a character in The Big C on Showtime, for which she won a fourth Emmy distinction in 2013. and from 2017 to 2022, she'll be starring in Netflix's crime show Ozark.
